Her knowledge and familiarity with our venue (Chateau du Raysse) was invaluable given that we not only were planning our wedding from the US but we had not physically toured the venue before. She had great suggestions and wonderful relationships with vendors. The moment when Julie really shone was when we had to make a series of massive changes at the last moment (changing the location of our ceremony, cocktail hour AND reception due to rain). I was very anxious about how this would all turn out but Julie completely understood all of my concerns and kept me up to date on all the changes being made. In the end she not only pulled it off, but I think it ended up all being even more beautiful than I had originally been planning it prior to the rain and it is such a testament to her skill! On top of all of that she is also just a joy to work with! Absolutely recommend! We were particularly impressed with how involved she was on the day and she made sure the whole thing ran without a hitch or any confusion, even with a last minute change of plan due to rain. Julie is professional, calm and so knowledgeable. I am from the UK, so Julie took care of everything in France, kept us on track and supported with any worries and anxieties on my end! The wedding was stunning and was better than I had ever imagined it could be, and that was because of Julie's attention to detail and all thanks to her additional, special touches, many of which I never expected. All of our discussions leading up to the wedding were very helpful and supportive and meeting her in person really solidified that. She absolutely knows what she's doing and spanned the range of being a great coordinator as well as emotional support - both for myself as the bride when my maid of honor dropped out, when the guests had too many questions for me to answer, and when my mom took a tumble the morning of the wedding. She was there for it all and it seemed nothing overwhelmed her. If we had questions or concerns, she handled it and I was truly sad to see her leave. We had to make a few changes on short notice due to the weather, and having her around meant that I didn’t have to think about it at all, she had it all under control.
